Community Workshop

The Birmingham Housing Week Community Conversation will serve as an opportunity for collaboration and inclusivity. Bringing together key stakeholders and residents with a lived experience of development, housing and regeneration across the City, this conversation will serve as a listening exercise to understand what truly matters to communities, in addition to diving into some of the issues and barriers they face, when it comes to having a real say in the regeneration and development of their area.

This will inform a key legacy of Birmingham Housing Week, which will include further commissioned research, along with a collective commitment from all sectors of the housing industry to communities as to how we can work together in genuine partnership. From there, we will bring forward a wider Community Convention, to create tangible, meaningful and long-lasting positive change around community involvement, and to set out a blueprint for working together in the future.
